Abstract :In this article, from past to now, administrative reform movements have been analyzed and by having evaluated the results, we tried to erase the perspective for administrative reform studies in the future. In this study, especially, the historical heritage in administrative reform, reasons that necessitate administrative reforms in Turkish Public Administration, the progress of administrative reforms in our country, in this process, reports that were prepared by foreign experts, administrative reform reports like MEHTAP and KAYA and other reports after 1960, hava been examined by a critical approach and the reflections to Turkish Public Administration within the frame of new seekings in public administration have been evaluated..
