Abstract :The aim f this study is t investigate the differences in the levels f Turkish academician\`s jb satisfactin accrding t age. Data were btained frm 831 academicians in 26 Universities in Turkey. A ttal f 346 respnses were received, giving a respnse rate f 41,6 percent. The fllwing cnclusins are made: insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(a); there is psitive Iinear relatinship bebveen age and jb satisfactin, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(b); the effect f rank n jb satisfactin is nt as strng as ne might expect, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(c); wmen tend t be sliglıtly mre satisfied in their careers than their male cunterparts.
