Abstract :The aim of this paper is to empirically test a model that links non-economic factors such as democracy and bureaucracy to corruption in a cross section of 68 developing countries. By using Ordinary Least Squares insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(OLS); and Weighted Least Squares insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(WLS); methods, the empirical findings of this paper suggest that Transparency International\`s Corruption Perception Index insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CPI); is negatively associated with democracy and positively associated with bureaucracy.Keywords :
