Abstract :In this work \`The Restructuring Program for the Banking Sector\` which has begun to be implemented in Turkey has been discussed within the context of the financial crisis and with an analytical point of view.The work starts with a pre-crisis analysis of the structure of the banking sector, continues with the determination of the role of the banking sector in the financial crisis and ends with an assessmentof the Restructuring Program in detail.
