Abstract :The articîe deals with the electoral models of France. It is possible to observe a lot of electoral models in this country from 19th century until today. However we can categorize all of them in two groups. One of them is majority electoral model and the other is electoral model of proportional representation. The main problematic is to analyse and to explain the differences, similarities, advantages and disadvantages of these two electoral model applicated in France.
