Abstract :İn this article, the Kosovo problem has been examined ill view of history and international law.These are the main points which have been emphasized in the article:First of all, the reasons which take place on the background of the Kosovo problem has been studied with historical chronology.Secondly, in the period of post-cold war, the problem has been examined in view of the right of self-determination.Lastly, the facts such as NATO intervention to Kosovo, its legality, the legal status of Kosovo and its importance in international law have been studied.
