Abstract :Tourism is a sustainable sector which serves different industries if it is put to good use. However, the loss of this economic revenue due to the environmental destruction is possible. Tourism policies on sustainable environment are put into practice both because of economic reasons and in order for next generations to live healthily. Considering practices in Turkey, it can be helpful to compare them with different examples and making a general evaluation for developing efficient policies. Undoubtedly, the process of making and putting policies containing both economic and environmental concerns into practice is difficult so a comparative case study will be useful.
