Abstract :Theoretically, the lower use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) compared to large-scale enterprises suggests that workers with knowledge of PPE usage do not share the culture of PPE usage. In this context, the question arises: \\\"Why do employees in SMEs not use PPE as effectively as employees in large-scale enterprises?\\\" This study aims to determine the impact of enterprise size on PPE usage culture and to propose solutions. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 occupational safety experts, selected according to the criteria using the snowball sampling method. After the data was obtained, content analysis was conducted and visualized using the qualitative data analysis program MAXQDA. The study concluded that the size of the enterprise affects the culture of PPE usage. To structure the PPE usage culture in SMEs, it is necessary to reframe the fundamental perspective on PPE usage and, consequently, on occupational health and safety (OHS) practices. Keywords : İKY, Kişisel Koruyucu Ekipman Kullanım Kültürü, İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği, Güvenlik Kültürü, KOBİ’ler
