Abstract :The increasing competition in the automotive sector, consumers\\\' lack of technical knowledge, and the growing need for trust have heightened the importance of auto- expertise services. In Türkiye, although obtaining an expert report is legally mandatory for the trade of vehicles under 8 years old or 160,000 km, this process has practically become a standard procedure in commercial transactions. As a result of this, deciding which auto-expertise firm to choose has become a critical decision point. In this context, the present study aims to contribute to the field by employing a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach in the selection of auto-expertise firms. Within the MCDM process, the LOPCOW method, a relatively new weighting technique, is used for determining the importance of criteria, while the TOPSIS method is applied for ranking alternatives. The research evaluates eight auto-expertise firms with at least 20 branches nationwide, based on seven criteria: year of establishment, number of branches, number of expertise packages, average package price, number of complaints, geographical coverage, and Instagram follower count. The findings reveal that the number of complaints is the most significant criterion, and “Pilot Oto Garage Ekspertiz” emerges as the best alternative among the evaluated firms. Keywords : Tüketici Tercihi, Çok Kriterli Karar Verme, Oto Ekspertiz, LOPCOW-TOPSIS Yöntemi
