Abstract :Retroperitoneal sarkomlar tüm yumuşak doku sarkomlarının % 15’ini oluşturan nadir tümörlerdir. Sıklıkla insidental olarak tanı alan retroperitoneal sarkomlarda en sık rastlanan histolojik tip liposarkomdur. Retroperitoneal liposarkomlarda yaşam süresini uzatan majör tedavi şekli geniş cerrahi rezeksiyondur. Cerrahi sonrası lokal rekürrens ve metastaz riskinden dolayı bu hastaların multidispliner olarak uzun dönem takip edilmeleri gerekmektedir. Burada ilk operasyonu sonrası takipsiz kalan ve 16 yıl sonra 24 cm’lik dev retroperitoneal kitle ile başvuran 72 yaşındaki bir liposarkom olgusuna yaklaşımımızı sunduk.
