Abstract :The core is a block of raw material from which flakes, blades or bladelets have been taken, in order to provide blanks for tools. The study on the Paleolithic core samples of Samsat province was given important information about their technological and typological features. Hopefully the results of this study will be helpful to understand the questions as follows: What kind of Paleolithic materials are there? What are the techno-typological features of them? How similar to the other territories about technically and typologically? How successful the chain operation? And which regions are important to investigate and to make short distance comparisons among the neighboring places of Samsat?
