Abstract :Bu çalışmada, Fransız tarihçi François Georgeon’un kaleme aldığı Sultan Abdülhamid adlı kitap incelenmiştir. Eser, II. Abdülhamid’in biyografisini ele alırken aynı zamanda dönemin Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nun siyasi, idari, ekonomik ve sosyal durumunu da inceler. Kitap dört kısım, on dokuz alt bölümden oluşmaktadır.
