Abstract :Bu çalışma, Van yöresinde bit enfestasyonu görülen evcil güvercinlerde yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla 65’i erkek 50’si dişi güvercin üzerinden toplanan bitler stereomikroskop altında incelenmiş ve tür teşhisleri yapılmıştır. Ektoparaziter muayenesi yapılan 115 güvercinin hepsinin Columbicola columbae ile yoğun şekilde enfeste oldukları tespit edilmiştir
