Abstract :Nonsteroidal antienflamatuvar bir etken m a d d e olan Naproksenin T ü r k i y e İlaç Piyasasında değişik firmalarca hazırlanmış farklı formülasyonlarda tabletleri m e v c u t t u r . Bu çalışmanın amacı, tablet şeklindeki bu preparatların etken m a d de miktar tayini ile ağırlık sapması, çap-kalınlık, sertlik, ufalanmaaşınma miktarı, dağılma zamanı ve ç ö z ü n m e hızı gibi fizikofarmasötik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi ve piyasada m e v c u t olan en u y g u n formülaslarm saptanmasıdır. Bulgular T . F . 1974, U.S.P. X X I v e B . P . 1980'nin ilgili monofgralarına göre değerlendirilmiştir. A y r ı c a ç ö z ü n m e hızı verileri u y g u n bir bilgisayar programı kullanılarak kinetik açıdan değerlendirilmiş ve tabletlerden etken m a d d e n i n % 50 ve % 9 0 ' n m m çözünerek açığa çıktığı süreler saptanmıştır. S o n u ç t a bazı piyasa tabletlerinin istenilen farmakope standartlarının dışında kaldığı, B firmasına ait tabletlerin ise en u y g u n tabletler olduğu görülmüştür. The purpose of the present study is to determine the content uni­formity and the physico-pharmaceutical properties of the tablets (such as weight variation, diameter-thickness, hardness, friability, disintegr a t ' o n time and dissolution rate), and to find the best formulation a m o n g the all tablet formulations in the market. T h e experimental results were evaluated according to the related m o n o g r a p h s o f T . F . 1974, U.S.P. X X I , B . P . 1980. T h e d i s s o l u t i o n rate data were assessed as kinetically using a c o m p u t e r p r o g r a m . Additi­onally t5 0 % and t9 0 % values were calculated. It was seen that, a m o n g the p r o d u c t s the B brand tablets were f o u n d the best while s o m e of the brands did n o t c o n f i r m to the require­ment o f the p h a i m a c o p e i a e
