Abstract :Bu çalışmada da diosgenol ve pregnenolon molekülü üzerinde fotoliz ve oksijenasyon sonucu bir çifte ba ğ oluşması sağlanmıştır. Bu amaçla önce diosgenol ve pregnenolon, sodyum p-benzoilbenzoat ile esterleştirilmiştir. p-benzoilbenzoik asit, toluen ve benzoil klorürden hareketle önce Friedel-Crafts ve sonra oksidasyon işlemi uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. Dah a sonra bu bileşiğin sodyum hidroksitle muamelesi sonucunda sodyum p-benzoilbenzoat elde edilmiştir. Hazırlanan esterler benzen içinde fotoliz edilmiş, daha sonra kurşun tetra asetat ile esterifikasyona sokulan fotoliz ürünleri son basamakt a hidroliz edilerek ester grubundan ayrılmıştır. Yapılan işlemler sonucu elde edilen dios-genol ve pregnenolon türevi bileşikler üzerinde çift bağ oluştuğu spektral analizlerle gösterilmiştir.
