Abstract :In this study, the anatomical and palynological features of Herniaria incana Lam. and H. pisidica Brummitt. species were investigated. Similarities and differences were discussed for species. Anatomy and pollen studies of these taxa are presented for the first time in this work. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Light Microscopy (LM) studies on the pollen grains have revealed that they are prolate – spheroidal and their exine ornamentation is microechinate – punctate. The stem has a collateral vascular bundle and the mesophyll type is bifacial for both H. incana and H. pisidica. Keywords : Anatomi, Caryophyllaceae, Herniaria, polen, Türkiye
