Abstract :Shear behaviour of masonry has been studied for modern masonry and few experimental results are available for historic un-reinforced masonry walls insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HURM); under seismic loads. A series of triplet tests, racking and cyclic shear wall tests have been experimentally conducted by the authors to investigate shear failure mechanisms and strength of HURM walls.
