Abstract :In this study Onopordum carduiforme insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Asteraceae); is recorded for the first time from south Anatolia region insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Hatay); of Turkey. The diagnostic characters of Onopordum carduiforme are given. Besides to description of the new record, photograph of the general habitus in nature is provided. Geographical distribution is mapped, and IUCN threat categories at the regional scale of the populations are discussed.
