Abstract :Migration is a phenomenon that has continued from the beginning of humanity to the present day and affects the social, cultural, economic, and political structures of countries. In recent years, the category of migration that has seen the greatest increase within international migration is brain drain. Brain drain is \"the movement of highly educated and qualified labor force to countries that offer better living and working opportunities.\" Brain drain is the result of the interaction of many push and pull factors. The reasons for migration include various economic, political, sociocultural, and natural reasons. Today, health professionals are among the professional groups experiencing the most brain drain. There is an increase in the number of healthcare professionals applying to work abroad and the number of people resigning. Studies reveal that healthcare professionals\' migration tendencies are increasing, they intend to migrate, and their attitudes towards brain drain are positive. The migration of qualified workforce in the field of health causes an increase in the workload of the remaining employees and an increase in the limitations and inequalities in society\'s access to qualified health services. Considering the increasing number of brain drains among health professionals and the problems experienced by countries with brain drains, it seems that preventing them is a critical issue. Therefore, determining the causes of brain drain, eliminating the driving factors that cause brain drain, and improving living and working conditions in the country will contribute to reducing the brain drain of healthcare professionals. Keywords : Beyin Göçü, Göç, Sağlık, Sağlık Profesyonelleri
