Abstract :Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith (Ýnanç Doktrini Kurumu) departma- nýndan sorumluydu. Bu kurum, bir anlamda Orta Çað’daki engizisyonun iþle- vini yerine getirmekte ve Katolik inanca zarar verdiði düþünülen her türlü faaliyet mahkûm etmektedir. Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, 7-8 Þu- bat 2005 tarihinde L’Osservatore Romano’da yayýnladýðý bir deklarasyonla Roger Haight’ýn Jesus the Symbol of God adlý eserinin Katolik inanç için büyük inanç öðretisi hatalarý taþýdýðýný iddia etmiþ ve kitabýn yazarýnýn neden kýnan- dýðýný ve Katolik eðitim kurumlarýnda ders vermekten niçin menedildiðini ge- rekçelendirmeye çalýþmýþ ve bunu yedi maddede özetlemiþtir
