Abstract :,and the Superiority of Justice. The law plays active role in social life. To understand its natureand to put it into practise successfully depends on the knowledge of its functions and the knowledge ofthe relations between these functions. The functions of law can be enumerated as to realize justice, tomeet social needs and to order social life. These functions, even within single legal system, sometimescontradict each other. Thus, those who practise the law must fallow a balanced and harmonic approachin application of these functions to reach ultimate goal of the realization of justice
