Abstract :In this article, the musical practices of ‘Alevi Kültür Dernekleri Karşıyaka Şubesi insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Yamanlar Cemevi);’ were searched in the context of ‘Alevi music revival’. Various comments related with ‘Alevilik’ were discussed in the beginning of this article and then identity and cultural identity were defined to explain the meaning of “Yol bir, sürek binbir”. Music revival can be defined as to be on the agenda insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(today); of a music tradition which is thought that this tradition is becoming lost or definitely lost in the history. Since the end of 1980’s, either industralization or changes in Turkish political life affected Alevis and so Alevi music revival was born. At the end of the article, Yamanlar Cemevi musical practises were analyzed for how affected from Alevi music revival and all the results were evaluated in the context of similarities and differences.
