Abstract :A high yielding and fast method for the synthesis of 1,4-Dihydropyrano[2,3-c] pyrazole via one-pot, three component reaction of an aromatic aldehyde, malonitrile and 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one using p-toluene sulfonic acid as a catalyst   is described   Keywords: p-toluene sulfonic acid , 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole, one-pot.
