Abstract :Karakaya Dam is the third largest dam lake and the second biggest electric generation plant in Turkey . CCA, UPGMA were explained that the effects of selected environmental factors on the composition and structure of macroinvertebrate communities in ecosystem. While the concentrations of nitrite and ammonium were high, the level of orthophosphate phosphorus was low in lake. Amounts of Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe, Cd, Cr were analyzed from sediment samples and monitor organism in the ecosystem. Consequently, there was a high level of metal pollution in the ecosystem and the organisms living in the sediment were directly affected by this pollution.
