This application is commonly known economizer cycle and when outside  conditions are suitable for cooling, it is used for. In this study, the free cooling is applied for the cold water  necessity which is supplied by the chiller of the cooling tower in the factory which is available in Istanbul. The  results show that the electricity consumption is decreased when the free cooling is applied with the chiller for  industrial plant. Key Words: Free cooling, Energy saving, Economizer, Istanbul
