COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR SINGLE VALUED WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPS IN METRIC SPACE
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to establish common fixed point theorems for single valued maps satisfying general contractive condition of integral type using weak compatibility wherein the conditions of completeness of the underlying subspaces and containment of ranges amongst involved maps is not needed. Moreover, an example and an application are also given to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.
