Selective Separation and Preconcentration of Thorium(IV) in Bastnaesite Ore Using Thorium(IV)-Imprinted Cryogel Polymer

Abstract :I n this study, selective separation and preconcentration of Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); in aqueous solutions and bastnaesite ore in the presence various lanthanide ions by using Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV);-imprinted polymer was conducted. For this purpose, Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); was complexed with N-methacryloyl antipyrine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP); and the prepared insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2-Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); complex monomer was polymerized with 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(HEMA); cryogel to prepare pHEMA-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2- Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); cryogel polymer by free radical polymerization. Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); was desorbed with 5.0 mol.L-1 HNO3 and thus Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV);-imrinted were created onto p-HEMA-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2 cryogel polymer. To determine the optimum conditions, in the process of selective binding of Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); ion to Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV);-imprinted p-HEMA-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2 cryogel polymer, some parameters such as pH, flow rate, initial Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); concentration were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the maximum binding capacity was obtained as 48.30 mg.g-1. Selectivity studies were also carried out in the presence of Ceinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(III);, Lainsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(III); and Euinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(III); ions using Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV);-imprinted p-HEMA-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2 cryogel polymer. It was found that p-HEMA-insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MAAP);2 cryogel polymer displayed high selectivity toward Thinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(IV); ion.Keywords : Th IV, imprinted polymer, p HEMA MAAP, 2, separation, preconcentration
