Abstract :In this paper, we deal with a problem of non-response on two successive occasions when the study character becomes sensitive in nature on second occasion. Estimators are formulated by considering two cases of non-response, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(i); when non-response on both occasions, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ii); when non-response on current occasion only. Expressions for mean squared errors insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MSEs); are derived under large sample approximation and the optimum replacement strategies are also discussed. A numerical study is carried out in support of the proposed technique.
