Abstract :Arches, curved beams and shells are important for structures. This article study provides information on arches, curved beams and shells. Arches, curved beams and shells were examined in sections and briefly explained. In fact, there is a lot of information that can be given about arches, curved beams and shells. In this article study, the terms are briefly explained and tried to be expressed by giving examples with shapes. The application of these terms in modern structures in Civil Engineering is quite common.
