Abstract :Concepts such psychological contract, trust, and alienation are of great importance for organizations today. Due to the unique characteristics of healthcare services in particular, healthcare employees are adversely affected by such concepts, which may result in an even heavier burden. The objective of this research was to determine the effects of healthcare employees’ perceptions toward psychological contract violations on their organizational trust and alienation levels. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 110 employees working in a public hospital in the province of Konya, Turkey. According to this study’s findings, while organizational trust was found to decrease and organizational alienation increased as participants’ perceived psychological contract violation increased, organizational alienation was found to decrease as trust in one’s manager and colleagues increased.
