Abstract :The purpose of this study is to comprehensively examine the academic literature in the rapidly growing field of spa tourism by analyzing key sources, prominent authors, countries, institutions, and keywords. In this way, the study aims to provide guidance to researchers and business professionals interested in spa tourism. In this context, 174 documents published between 1990 and 2024 with the keyword \\\"spa tourism\\\" in the Scopus database were analyzed. As part of the bibliometric analysis, document, author, country, institution, and keyword citation analyses were conducted. In terms of document citation analysis, the most highly cited studies in spa tourism include “Past themes and future trends in medical tourism research” and “Health or self-indulgence? Turkey’s Gaziosmanpaşa University, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Bitlis Eren University, and Yaşar University are also among the institutions contributing to this field.
