Abstract :Türkiye'de ve diğer pek çok ülkede önemli ekonomik yapılara neden olan zararlılarla mücaddelede Pestisitler kullanılmaktadır. Pestisitler insanlara deri, solunum veya sindirim yoluyla geçerek karaciğerde sitokrom P450 bağımlı monooksijenaz sistemi ile metabolize edilmektedir. Pestisitler hepatik mikrozomlarda lipit peroksidasyonunu stimüle ederek sitokrom P450 ve "hem" miktarının azalmasına, glukoz-6-fosfataz ve pirofosfataz enzim aktivitelerinde önemli derecelerde azalmalara neden olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bu derlemede Pestisitlerin biyolojik sistemler üzerine etkisi hakkında genel bilgi sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
