Abstract :The purpose of the present study was to adapt the Cybervictimization Emotional Impact Scale insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CVEIS); into Turkish and assess its psychometric characteristics. The study group consisted of 379 adolescents who were drawn two secondary and three high schools in Antalya, Turkey. In the analysis to examine the validity, the factor analysis results provided a two-factor model, namely Depressed and Active, consisted of 16 items. In the analyses for criterion-related validity, the relationships between the Cyber Victim Scale insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(CVS); and the sub-dimensions of CVEIS were examined. According to the results, CVS scores were positively correlated with Depressed insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0.05);. In terms of the reliability, Cronbach’s alpha coefficients were found to be 0.87 for Depressed and 0.84 for Active. The results of the study provide a measure that can be administered for the assessment of the emotional impacts of cybervictimization in Turkish adolescents.
