Abstract :In social life human beings who grow up as individuals constantly focused on being successful also experience failures from time to time. It is not possible to be successful all the time in life, after the necessary effort, failures can be experienced due to many different factors. Sport is a field where the concept of success makes itself felt intensely. For athletes, how the failure situation is perceived is an important issue. For this reason, the purpose of this study was to examine the students’ failure perceptions in Faculty of Sport Sciences. In the study the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PFAI); was used. In statistical analyzes; descriptive statistical analyzes, normality test, t-test and Anova tests were performed for defining test results’ significantly differed or not with various variables. As a result, it was determined that the data had normal distribution, students’ fear of failure scores are under average level and their test results were significantly differed according to their gender and age variables.
