Abstract :Hammaddesi ağaç olan ahşap işleri el sanatları içerisinde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Özellikle mimari yapılarda ahşap ürünlerinin en özgün ve tarihi eser niteliğinde olan örneklerinin yanında kullanım ve dekoratif amaçlı olanları da bulunmaktadır. Ahşap ürün, el sanatları çerçevesinde bazı illerde halen üretilmektedir. Bu illerden biride Ordu'dur. Bu çalışmada Ordu ilinde ahşaptan üretilen yakma ve dağlama tekniği uygulanarak desenlendirilen ürünler ve bu ürünlerde kullanılan motifler incelenmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler: El sanatı, ahşap yakma ve dağlama, Ordu. Abstract Wood work, whose raw material is wood, has an important place in handicraft. Beside, most original and historic samples of wooden products are especially used in architectural structure. There are also used for decorative purposes Ordu, is one of the cities in which handmade wooden product are produced. In this research, wooden product which are produced in Ordu and created using pyrography techniques and their motifs are examine. Key words: Handicraft, pyrography, Ordu.
