Abstract :Bu araştırmanın amacı, “Türkiye’deki Koro Şeflerinin Dönüşümcü ve Etkileşimci Liderlik Davranışları”nı incelemek ve hangi tür liderlik davranışlarını benimsediklerini belirlemeye çalışmaktır. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla koro şeflerine “Çok Faktörlü Liderlik Anketi (5x-Kısa) – Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5x-short (MLQ)” (Bass ve Avolio, 1995) uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya 118 Kadın ve 97 Erkek olmak üzere toplam 215 koro şefi katılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde “Bağımlı İki Örnek t-Testi (Paired-Samples t-Test)” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; Türkiye’de koro şeflerinin genel olarak dönüşümcü liderlik davranışlarını benimsedikleri anlaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT This study aimed at examining the “Transformational Leadership and Transactional Leadership Behaviors of Choir Conductors in Turkey” and determining various kinds of leadership behaviors the conductors adopted. Descriptive survey model was employed to receive responses of the conductors. . The questionnaire technique was used for data collection and utilized the “Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5x-short (MLQ)” ( Bass Bass and Avolio, 1995). A total of 215 choir conductors participated in the study and recorded their responses to various questions in the questionnaires. These participant conductors included 118 females and 97 males. Data were analyzed by the SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software program and Paired-Samples t-Test. According to the research findings; it was revealed that the choir conductors in Turkey adopt transformational leadership behaviors.
