Abstract :Güzel Sanatlar eğitimi sürecinde bireylere eleştirel, kültürel bilgi ve deneyim kazandırılmaya çalışılır. Bu bilgi ve deneyim tarih, kültürle ilgili kuramsal derslerin yanında sanat eleştirisi, sanat eseri inceleme dersleriyle de verilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Tarihsel süreçte sanatın varlık nedeniyle bağlantılı olarak sanat eleştirisi yöntemleri de değişmektedir. Sanat eleştiri süreci, eleştirilen nesnenin doğasından dolayı birtakım zorlukları içerisinde barındırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada betimsel çözümleme yöntemi ile eleştiri sürecinde incelenen nesnenin (sanat yapıtı) doğasından dolayı karşılaşılan sıkıntıların neler olduğu ortaya koyulmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu zorlukları aşmada göstergebilimsel yöntemin yeri ve yapısı üzerinde durularak göstergebilimsel çözümleme yönteminin eleştiriden ayrıldığı noktalar belirlenmeye çalışılacaktır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Gösterge, göstergebilim, sanat eleştirisi. ABSTRACT The fine arts education process attempts to imbue individuals with critical and cultural knowledge and experience. This knowledge and experience is passed on with the aid of courses revolving around art criticism and art analysis, in addition to theoretical lectures on history and culture. Through the course of history, methods of art have evolved in connection with art’s reason for being. The process of art criticism embodies a number of difficulties arising from the nature of the art itself. This work will attempt to examine, through the use of descriptive analysis, the difficulties presented by the nature of art during the art criticism process. The work will additionally attempt to pinpoint the ways in which the semiotic analysis method diverges from criticism while considering the role and structure of the semiotic method in overcoming such difficulties.
