Abstract :Lateral epicondylitis is a common condition caused by repetitive hand and wrist movements, leading to elbow pain. Given the importance of exercise in its treatment, analyzing related research trends through bibliometric methods is essential. In this context, the aim of the study is to provide a systematic overview of the literature by analyzing English-language publications published between 1996 and 2025 in the Web of Science Core Collection database, using the keywords LE and exercise. As a result of the search conducted on April 20, 2025, a total of 144 publications were obtained and evaluated using the Biblioshiny and VOSviewer programs. According to the findings, publications on LE and exercise have increased since 2005, peaking in the years 2021, 2022, and 2024. The average annual citation per article among these publications, contributed by a total of 608 authors, is 30.38. Among the journals with the highest number of publications are the British Journal of Sports Medicine, Journal of Hand Therapy, and Clinical Rehabilitation. The most cited study is the systematic review published by Smidt et al. in 2003. In the country analysis, the USA and Türkiye stand out in terms of productivity, while Australia and the USA lead in citation counts. The most active institutions are The University of Queensland and Griffith University, and the most influential authors are identified as Vicenzino B. and Bisset L. This study was conducted to systematically present existing research, and its findings are expected to save time and serve as a guide for future stusies.
