Abstract :The Ribat movement in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of the most popular means that the Palestinians have made in recent years to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it has played - and still - in its various forms, a remarkable role in obstructing the Judaization projects that aim to divide the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in time and space, as well as maintaining the issue of Baitul Maqdis and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is present on the Arab and Islamic agenda. This paper seeks to shed light on the ribat experience and document it by studying the conditions of its launch, its course, and its role as a peaceful resistance action in defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and confirming its Islamic exclusivity, and the methods of the Israeli occupation in fighting it as one of the expressive examples of the role of popular forces in the battle to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque.
