Abstract :The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant occupational risks for healthcare professionals, with clinical laboratory personnel being among the most vulnerable groups. Preventive strategies and treatment algorithms issued by health authorities have undergone continuous revisions as new evidence has emerged. The objective of this review is to systematically summarize the recommended safety measures for biochemistry laboratories during the pandemic, as outlined in international and national guidelines, and to provide a comprehensive framework for optimizing laboratory working conditions under pandemic circumstances.
