Abstract :In recent years, we have encountered more exotic animals in our clinics. The one of the most common of these animals are reptiles. They are herbivorous reptile that native to Central and South America. The most important predisposing factor is the husbandry and the management of these animals. If a green iguana stays in poor care conditions, the immune system will deteriorate and diseases will occur. Therefore, in order to diagnose the diseases more easily, it is very important to learn about the animal`s conditions of care at first. Diagnostic methods include physical examination, routine blood tests insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(hemogram and biochemical parameters);, imaging diagnostic methods insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(radiology, ultrasonography, endoscopy, tomography, MR);. Parasitological and microbiological investigations may also be included in cases where necessary. In this speech, diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in this animals that brought to our faculty clinic will be discussed.
