Abstract :Due to prolonged exposure to daylight, the seasonal oestrus cycle in cats has reached the point where it can spread almost throughout the year. This situation has brought many problems with it. Mammary tumors and mammary gland hyperplasia are the most common conditions in mammary tissue as a result of exogenous progesterone applications for reproductive control. In this review, information about the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical detection and especially current and successful treatment options for mammary gland hyperplasia in cats is given.
