Abstract :Canine parvovirus (CPV-2) is a severe disease in puppies, characterized by high morbidity and mortality, often causing hemorrhagic enteritis and death. This case involved a three-month-old female toy poodle brought to the clinic with anorexia, diarrhea, lethargy, and vomiting. The dog was clinically diagnosed with CPV-2, and PCR analysis of blood and fecal samples at the Department of Virology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Selcuk University, confirmed viral DNA presence. After treatment, the dog fully recovered. This study underscores CPV-2 infection risks in vaccinated populations, highlighting the significance of monitoring VP2 region nucleotide changes and antigenic variants to ensure vaccine efficacy and effective disease control. Keywords : Canine parvovirus, olgu sunumu, viral enteritler, PCR
