Abstract :ÖZET Kağıt restorasyonu ve konservasyonunda uzun yıllardır kullanılan farklı yapıştırıcılar bulunmaktadır. Buğday nişastası, pirinç nişastası ve metil selüloz sıklıkla kullanılan malzemelerdir. Bu çalışmada en çok tercih edilen diğer yapıştırıcılar ile metil selülozun avantajları ve dezavantajları ortaya konmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: kağıt restorasyonu, konservasyon, yapıştırıcılar, buğday nişastası, pirinç nişastası, metil selüloz. ABSTRACT Different adhesives have been used in paper restoration and conservation for many years. For example, wheat starch, rice starch, and methyl cellulose are often used. In this study, with the most preferred other adhesives, the advantages and disadvantages of methyl cellulose are discussed.
