Abstract :ÖZET İ.Ü. N.E.B. 2002 yılından beri hizmet vermektedir. Bu çalışmada N.E.B.’nde bulunan el yazmalarının bozulma durumları hazırlanan formlara kaydedilerek tespit edilmiştir. Böcek, asit, mantar, cilt ve sayfalardaki bozulmaların dereceleri kayıt altına alınarak gelecekte yapılması planlanan restorasyon ve koruma çalışmalarına yol göstermesi amaçlanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Restorasyon, Konservasyon, el yazmaları, bozulma. ABSTRACT The Rare Books and Manuscript Library (N.E.B) of Faculty of Letters at İstanbul University was established in 2002. Through forms and records, this study aims to analyse the deterioration of N.E.B’s resources. The degree of deterioration that is caused by insects, acid, fungus and that could be observed on bookbindings and pages are recorded so that the study works as a guidance for future restoration and preservation.
