Abstract :One of the most important values to be given importance by the businesses has been the human factor. The human factor is affected by both the physical and emotional characteristics of the individuals. The businesses inspect the human factor carefully because whether individuals are affected positively or negatively will also affect the businesses positively or negatively. In this study, the rates of emotional labor of the flight attendants as employees of airlines were analyzed according to gender differences. The analysis shows that there is not a significant relationship between the gender and the emotional labor. Nevertheless, it is observed that females have higher level of emotional labor compared to males.
