Abstract :Eastern Black Sea Region is one of the regions where the forest-villager relationship is excessive. 51% of the population in the region has been living in rural areas and some factors such as disorganized settlement, agricultural and pasturage areas’ are being within the forests and rural poverty increase the forest-village relationships. This study was composed of the data of survey applied to 582 forest villagers living in 82 different forest villages located in Eastern Black Sea Region. Forest villagers participated to the survey are not satisfied with the forest policy of the government and they consider the physical advantages of forest. The ratio of satisfied people with the activity of forest enterprises related to the forestry was 20%. On the other hand, they pay less attention about the allocation of barren forest lands to the forestry.Keywords : Orman, orman köylüleri, halkla ilişkiler
