Abstract :Industrialist have an important role in the development of foreign trade due to big improvement of foreign trade values in the recent years. Turkey’s annual foreign trade is 177 billion $ by the end of July 2005. In this study, it was investigated the improvement of foreign trade during Jan-May 2005. Data were obtained from the Prime Minister Office Undersecretaries. In the extent of this study, foreign trade values according to economic activity branches were studied. Furthermore, foreign trade values realized at the same period according to country groups and 10 cities that have the most numbers of foreign trade firms in our country were investigated. In addition, the  values belong to inferior sectors of forest products industries and their portions in the foreign trade were determined. According to results, the highest  foreign trade value was found in furniture products group while the lowest foreign trade value was found in living trees and other plants.
