Abstract :İçerisinde grayanotoksin bulunduran Rhododendron familyası bitkilerinden beslenen arıların ürettiği bal, ülkemizde halk arasında deli bal, tutar bal veya acı bal olarak bilinir. Bu balın yenilmesi sonrasında doza bağımlı olarak insanlarda hafif sindirim sistemi irritasyon bulgularından, yaşamı tehdit edebilen bradiaritmiler, hipotansiyon ve santral sinir sistemi etkilenimine kadar birçok semptoma sebep olabilir. Biz bu yazıda acil servise baş dönmesi ve halsizlik şikayetiyle baş vuran hastanın çekilen elektrokardiyografisinde Mobitz tip 1 blok saptadıktan sonra öykünün derinleştirilmesiyle bu semptomlar oluşmadan yaklaşık 1 saat önce bal yediği öğrenilen bir olguyu tartıştık.
