Abstract :Karbon monoksit dünyada ölümle sonuçlanan zehirlenmelerin yaklaşık yarısını oluşturmaktadır. Hücresel düzeyde toksisiteye neden olması ve oksijenin dokulara salınımını engellemesi zehirlenme etkilerini ortaya çıkarır. Karboksihemoglobin insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(COHb); düzeyi ile klinik yansıma arasında literatürde net bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Ancak düzeyin artışı mortalite ve morbidite için riski arttırmaktadır. Bu yazıda acil servise geliş COHb düzeyi %65 olan bir olgunun takip süreci ile bu konuyu tekrar gözden geçirmeyi amaçladık.
